Building a strong foundation for the future

Independence is a key part of growing up. How can we foster community participation for children with developmental delays, disabilities, or neurodiverse diagnoses?

This workshop offers practical strategies for parents to support their child’s independence and lay a strong foundation for their future.

Join us to explore how to:

  • Encourage community engagement from an early age
  • Leverage family and community support for positive outcomes
  • Overcome challenges and advocate for inclusion.

We’ll also share a comprehensive list of inclusive activities for preschool-aged children and our School & Life program, supporting children up to 8 years old.

The ‘Let’s talk about…’ sessions are designed by families for families to discuss various topics and learn together. They are facilitated by trained parent-peer workers raising a child with developmental delay or disability.

This session is for
