They also provide opportunities for you to meet the Plumtree team and other families in a relaxed and welcoming environment.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nDuring this playgroup\, you and your child will: \n\n\n\n\nConnect with other families to share ideas and information\, including the benefits of play and early learning for children’s development \n\n\n\nExperience group time with songs\, books and other fun activities \n\n\n\nEncourage your child’s movement\, play and communication development and access tailored guidance from experienced professionals\n\n\n\nChat with our team about your child’s development \n\n\n\nExplore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Jarvie Park \n\n\n\nHave fun in a friendly\, encouraging and welcoming space! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho is this playgroup for\n\n\n\nThis playgroup is for families with babies and young children up to 3 years old\, including those seeking specialist developmental support from our team.Grandparents and siblings are welcome to join too. DESCRIPTION:The library environment can significantly influence the behaviour and social interactions of children with sensory processing needs. For example\, a child who has an oversensitive sensory system may avoid busy\, bright or noisy places. A child with an under sensitive sensory system may enjoy more movement or tactile experiences. \n\n\n\nJoin us for this interactive workshop designed to equip library staff with practical tools to support children with sensory needs.
