The key to success lies in being well prepared and proactive.In this session\, we’ll share practical strategies and a helpful framework to help you prepare for meetings\, communicate with confidence and keep your family’s vision for your child at the centre of decision-making. We’ll explore ways to clarify the purpose of a meeting\, work collaboratively with professionals\, make sure everyone understands their role\, and follow up on agreed actions afterwards. We’ll also discuss practical tools that can help you stay organised\, navigate challenging moments and turn meeting discussions into meaningful next steps for your child and family \n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us to learn about:  \n\n\n\n\nPreparing for meetings and setting clear goals\n\n\n\nKeeping your vision for your child at the centre of discussions\n\n\n\nWorking collaboratively with professionals and communicating effectivelyFollowing up on recommendations and agreed actions\n\n\n\nPractical tools and strategies to support successful meetings and positive outcomes\n\n\n\n\nThe ‘Let’s talk about…’ sessions are designed by families for families to discuss various topics and learn together. They are facilitated by trained parent-peer workers raising a child with developmental delay or disability. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho can attend?For parents\, carers\, and family members of children with developmental concerns\, delay or disability aged 0-8 years. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhenThursday 29 October 20267.30pm to 9.00pm (NSW\, ACT\, VIC and TAS) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhereDelivered online via Zoom. The focus is on helping you prepare for meetings\, communicate clearly and follow up confidently afterwards. 			\n								\n							\n						\n								\n							\n			How do I join the online sessions?After registering\, you’ll receive an automated confirmation email with the Zoom link and joining instructions. If you can’t find the email\, please check your junk or spam folder.We will also send you a reminder closer to the event date. You’ll need a stable internet connection and a device that can access Zoom.
