DESCRIPTION:Sharing ideas to strengthen inclusion in community libraries \n\n\n\nHow can we make public libraries more welcoming and inclusive for children with developmental delay or disability and their families? \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin library staff from across Australia for a quarterly community of practice. These online sessions provide an opportunity to share experiences\, discuss challenges\, exchange practical ideas and learn from one another. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhether you’re just getting started or have been working on inclusion for years\, you’re welcome to join the conversation. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAfter registering once\, you’ll automatically receive invitations to future quarterly sessions. DESCRIPTION:A parent peer worker-led Q&A on making your library more inclusive as part of your Community of Practice \n\n\n\nMeet Libraries as Community Connectors team members Kylie\, Marie and Rob to discuss any questions or concerns about including children with developmental delay and disability in your library programs.  \n\n\n\nKylie and Marie are trained parent peer workers at Plumtree who are raising a child with a disability or developmental delay. They liaise with parents and carers\, develop and facilitate programs\, and collaborate with the team to provide support for families.
