DESCRIPTION:Supports and strengthens child-parent relationships \n\n\n\nThe Circle of Security is an evidence-based program that helps build and strengthen child-parent relationships. Research shows that when children have at least one secure relationship with a parent or carer\, they enjoy better health\, stronger relationships\, and greater success in their future education. \n\n\n\nOur online sessions are interactive and designed to create a safe\, supportive space for everyone. Recordings are not shared. \n\n\n\n\n\nIn this program\, you’ll learn to: \n\n\n\n\nUnderstand your child’s emotional world by learning to recognize their emotional needs.\n\n\n\nSupport your child in managing their emotions.\n\n\n\nBuild your child’s self-esteem.\n\n\n\nHonor your inner wisdom and your desire to make your child feel safe and secure.\n\n\n\n\nYou may also like to know that we are also running a Circle of Security group especially for dads\, as well as a daytime group\, in case these options are helpful for you. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis program is for\n\n\n\nParents\, carers\, and family members of children aged 0-12 years. While the Circle of Security is not a disability-specific program\, it will help families apply the approach to their child’s unique needs. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen\n\n\n\nWeekly online sessions across eight weeks.Each session is 2 hours\, and attending all sessions is required.From Monday 4 May to Monday 22 June 2026\, 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm AEST/ NSW\, ACT\, VIC and TAS timePlease adjust for your own time zone if needed. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere\n\n\n\nThe event will be delivered online via Zoom. Families from anywhere in Australia are welcome to join.
