Parents leading for positive outcomes
Parents often meet with professionals to achieve the best outcomes for their children. The key to success lies in being well prepared and proactive.
In this session, we’ll share practical strategies and a helpful framework to help you prepare for meetings, communicate with confidence and keep your family’s vision for your child at the centre of decision-making. We’ll explore ways to clarify the purpose of a meeting, work collaboratively with professionals, make sure everyone understands their role, and follow up on agreed actions afterwards. We’ll also discuss practical tools that can help you stay organised, navigate challenging moments and turn meeting discussions into meaningful next steps for your child and family
