Rob, a State Library of NSW visiting scholar & library ambassador. He was the Australian Libraries and Information Association NSW Manager from 2019-2023. In 2015, as his time as President of the Library Council came to an end, Rob and his family created the Coral Thomas Fellowship, the Library’s most significant fellowship, in honour of his mother, Coral Kirkwood Thomas née Patrick (1920–1996).
Rob is passionate about public libraries and the important role they play in promoting an inclusive and fairer society.
