Free Playgroups at Plumtree

Free weekly playgroups held during school terms for children of different ages. These playgroups are funded by the NSW Department of Education Start Strong Pathways Program. Families can enjoy connection, community and support while children learn through play

Playgroup stories: Past and present

At Plumtree, playgroups are for more than play. Families can find connection, confidence and support. These stories show the lasting benefits of joining a supported playgroup. Together, these stories show the lasting impact of being part of a supported playgroup.

Families currently attending Plumtree playgroups share what joining in means for them and their little ones: friendship, community, and a place where children can thrive.

Colin, co-author of Milly’s Mind, looks back on how a supportive playgroup helped his family become stronger and more empowered.
