Maryam is a Senior Therapist at Plumtree Children’s Services, where she supervises the Plumtree Behaviour Support team. Rather than carrying an individual caseload, Maryam provides clinical guidance, mentoring, and supervision to behaviour support practitioners, helping to build their knowledge, confidence, and skills in delivering high-quality, evidence-based support.
Maryam is passionate about Positive Behaviour Support and is dedicated to empowering parents, educators, and other professionals with practical strategies that improve quality of life for children and their families. With extensive experience supporting children and adults with a wide range of strengths and support needs, she enjoys working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive, meaningful, and sustainable outcomes.
Maryam is also trained in delivering the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) for young children. She also facilitated Plumtree’s online Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) eBook program, making practical, evidence-based behaviour support strategies more accessible to families and professionals.
