Hesham‘s path into paediatric physiotherapy started with a choice: as a physiotherapy student in Cairo, he began volunteering to bring healthcare to children in communities with little access to it. That choice became a career spanning 18 years across Egypt, Oman, and Australia, working closely with children with disability, developmental delay, and cerebral palsy.
Families value Hesham for how closely he listens before he plans. He tailors every assessment and intervention to what matters most for your child — combining evidence-based, functional techniques with practical strategies you can use at home, and, when it’s the right fit, assistive technology, or orthoses to support your child’s goals.
At Plumtree, Hesham works within the Key Worker model to turn everyday moments into developmental wins. Trained in Pictability facilitation and understanding children’s behaviour, he brings skilled, evidence-based care and genuine warmth in equal measure — and looks forward to partnering with you and your child.
